Longhorns

We raise Texas Longhorn cattle simply because they are such a fundamental part of Texas and our family heritage.  These cattle were originally brought by the early Spanish settlers in Texas.  Over time the cattle went wild and were left on there own until the 1850s when cowboys began to drive them to the north and sell them for slaughter.  They are strong, immune to diseases and have a high birth rate.  We take those strong genetics and focus our breeding on lateral horn growth, color and and a good disposition.

Today our focus is on a small but outstanding herd of what we call “Front Pasture Cattle” – simply the best of the best.
